Fluke

In our local bays spring to early summer is the best chance for a good catch.

Weakfish

Each spring large trophy weakfish 8 pounds and up are caught while bait and lure fishing for striped bass. During the summer and early for fall I will be night fishing for trophy weakfish with lures and bait. Late summer and early fall fishing can also be excellent for 1 to 4 pound Weakfish during the day.

Bluefish

Every spring schools of 2 to 8 pound Bluefish enter the bay in great numbers. Chumming, trolling and casting methods can produce great fishing. Summer and early fall smaller snapper blues fill the bay and are excellent targets for light spinning and fly-fishing.
